Splendid occasionally accepts complimentary or discounted stays from hotels and tourism boards in order to report first-hand. Accepting a hosted stay never guarantees positive coverage. If a property does not meet our standards it will not be featured. When an article is the result of a hosted stay, we disclose this clearly within the piece.
