April Windsor founded Splendid Magazine in 2023. Her editorial focus is the architecture, light and quiet rituals of a place: the small details that make a hotel worth crossing the world for. She writes from a base between Bali, Europe and Australia. Splendid is independently owned and reader-funded; every hotel reviewed has been visited in person before publication.
